Overview
This model represents a planned German tank destroyer based on the Panzer II Ausf. G chassis, fitted with a 5 cm Pak 38 anti-tank gun in a canopy-style open-top fighting compartment. Production was scheduled from 1942 but the project was canceled due to development delays. Some sources claim a very small number may have seen combat, but this remains unconfirmed. The kit is a historically informed multi-material plastic model based on the limited surviving references.
