Description

The EF65 type is a DC electric locomotive that appeared in 1965, and a total of 308 cars were manufactured.
Among them, the 1000s appeared as a general-purpose locomotive that could be used for both passenger train towing and freight train towing, which had been divided in the past, and was called the PF type, taking each name.
In the Tokyo locomotive depot, known as the prestigious towing of the Tokaido Line Blue Train, it replaced the 500th generation P type that had been active since 1978 and replaced the EF66 type at the Shimonoseki depot until 1985. He was active as the face of Hazama Blue Train.
