TAKI 5050 type tank car model, faithful reproduction of the Mitani Sangyo example
Overview
The TAKI 5050 type was a tank car introduced in 1965 for transporting hydrochloric acid and amino acids. Its tank shape varied by manufacturing period and owner. The original train owned by Mitani Sangyo mainly operated from Matto Station, with some cars later transferred to the Kanto region and running between Shibukawa and Etchujima Freight Station until the early 1990s.
