JR Kyushu Type KIHA 125 entered service in 1993 with equipment for one-person operation. Cars were assigned to the Karatsu and Oita areas, working on routes including the Karatsu, Chikuhi, Hohi and Kyudai lines. This set depicts two cars based at Oita.
-The train can be motorized to an N scale train and is compatible with TM-23 Motorized Chassis and TT-03R Trailer Conversion Kit.
