The Orone 10 Second-Class Sleeping Car from the 10-Series passenger coaches, which served until the final years of Japan National Railways, is now available as a 1/80 Scale Model.

Prototype Guide: The 10-Series passenger cars were lightweight coaches manufactured for Japan National Railways from 1955.

The Orone 10 was a Second-Class Sleeping Car that adopted structural features from the 20-Series coaches and was notable for being equipped with air conditioning from the outset.

It was on overnight express trains from introduction and continued to operate even after many seating cars were converted to the 12-Series in the late 1970s, and it was retired in 1983.
