A set inspired by the Express Tsugaru formed of 10 Series Coaches that remained in service until the final days of JNR is now available in 1/80 scale.

Real Train Guide: The 10 Series Coaches were lightweight passenger cars manufactured for JNR from 1955 and were mainly on express trains through the end of JNR service.

The Tsugaru was an express train connecting Ueno and Aomori via the Ou Main Line; after 1978 it ran two round trips formed by 12 Series Coaches, 10 Series Sleepers, and Surofu 62.
