Overview

The 20 series is a limited express sleeper passenger car that debuted in 1958. This high grade model faithfully reproduces the sleeper express Ginga, the last regularly scheduled 20 series train to Tokyo. Ginga ran between Tokyo and Osaka, with 20 series cars used from 1976 to 1985. From Miyahara Depot, EF58 locomotives handled hauling until 1980, and EF65-1000 series locomotives handled hauling from 1980 to 1985.
