The 700 series No. 0, which belongs to JR Tokai, is a vehicle for the Tokaido / Sanyo Shinkansen, and it appeared as a replacement for the 0/100 series.
Upon retirement, from February 12, 2020, body decorations were made on the front part and the side of two 700 series C53 formations and C54 formations.
In March 2020, Tokaido Shinkansen Series 700 was retired while regretting.
