Series 800, which is mainly used on the Kyushu Shinkansen between Hakata and Kagoshima Chuo, is the main vehicle of the Kyushu Shinkansen.
Series 800 No.1000 has different characteristics from the No.0 series in terms of headlights, exterior side lines, etc.
The 'GO! WAKU WAKU SMILE' project has started, with Mickey and many other friends going to see smiling faces all over Kyushu. Beginning August 24, 2023, the Series 800 U9 configuration, specially designed for this project, will be in operation for a limited time.
