Series 205 is a commuter train that appeared in 1985.
It appeared as a replacement for the 103 series, which was widely used in the Tokyo metropolitan area, and was introduced on the Yamanote Line as the first series.
Unlike the conventional 103 series and 201 series, the car body is a stainless car body and the line color of the introduced line is pasted.
The 205 series introduced on the Yamanote line was transferred to another line when the same line was replaced by the E231 series.
Two of the similar trains transferred to the Keiyo Line were mass-produced early cars, and the color of the belt was changed to wine red and the train was changed to 10 cars and was active until 2011.
