The N700 series is the main train on the Tokaido SHINKANSEN. Of these, the 5000 series owned by JR West was a modified version of the 3000 series made to resemble the improved N700A. In 2025, some 5000 series trains were converted into the 6000 series, an 8-car set used on Kodama services. This model reproduces the 6000 series 8-car modified N700 series and is ideal for collectors and model train enthusiasts.
