The playable ship Ixpel from the robot shooter Formation Z is recreated as a plastic model kit. Formation Z was released as an arcade game in 1984 and ported to home consoles in 1985. The variable-configuration combat mecha Ixpel has been redesigned by mechanic designer Kanetake Ebikawa and produced as the first release under the GM2I brand.
Kanetake Ebikawa’s design refinement delivers a sleek, sharp sculpt in both ground form (robot) and air form (fighter). Swappable parts allow faithful reproduction of both ground and air modes.
