It is made of high carbon steel blade, capable for any carving style and technique.
Due to its special shape, the blade almost not producing any chatter sound.
It can be used to sharpen the sides of gap, or flatten the bottom surface.
The grip is designed to be controlled as easy as handling a pencil.
You can even adjust its weight balance by using the included aluminum grip.
Although pin vice you can find in markets can also be used to hole the blade, it may lost the weight balance and makes it harder to use, therefore it is not recommended.
