A collaborative art format featuring diverse artists, The Legend of Beauty and Beast presents its first release: Motoko Kusanagi and Tachikoma from Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex rendered in character colors by artist Entei Ryu.
Entei Ryu, known for wide ranging work in game and film concept art, originally gained attention for garage kit pieces. Her design has been faithfully translated into a fully painted statue that preserves the original inventive composition where human and machine blend into a single form. At approximately 53 cm tall, the statue uses the scale to deliver highly precise sculpting and fine detail.
Key visual features include lifelike glossy eyes, large undulating cyborg cables, and metallic-feeling rifles and Tachikoma surfaces. Organic and inorganic elements are intricately intertwined with added detailing to increase visual complexity. A custom base is included and crafted to match the artwork style.
Experience Entei Ryu’s reinterpretation elevated to full character color by Prime 1 Studio in celebration of the anime’s 30th anniversary.
