The long-awaited Destron joins the virtual retro Missing Link series: Information Strategist Soundwave debuts.

Soundwave transforms into a stereo cassette and deploys cassette troops from his chest, making him one of the series' most popular characters.

Recreated in the same size as the original in true G1 Style with some zinc alloy parts, he returns in the Missing Link series with articulated joints for free posing, a new transformation mode, and deluxe accessories.

Newly engineered Cassettoron Scout Robo, making its first physical release, is included

it appeared in the anime episode "Two Convoys" as a reconnaissance drone-type Cassettoron investigating colonium crystals and had never been merchandised before, and this Missing Link release finally fills that Cassettoron vacancy.

Some patterns that were originally reproduced with stickers are recreated here with sculpted relief and paint, and foil stickers are included for optional application.

A redesigned joint system enables highly free action poses such as kneeling and eject poses, and a third mode reproduces the Light Standard Mode seen in episode 1 "Road to Earth," taking the appearance of a streetlight on home planet Cybertron to deceive the Autobots.

Accessories include Electric Launcher, Vibration Blaster Gun, Barrier Case and familiar gear, plus domestic-version features of Headphones, Command Microphone and Cord; the Headphones are for display only and are not recommended for actual wear.

Soundwave and Scout Robo bodies include Secret Emblems that reveal faction marks when warmed by finger, and each has holes for separately sold stand joints to enable action-pose displays.

The package illustration is a newly drawn image evoking the original era, and a Collection Card is included.
