A long-awaited Takao-class heavy cruiser “Atago” appears as a replica.
Though Atago drew less attention among the attractive Takao-class heavy cruiser such as Takao, Chokai, and Maya, Atago is completely different from Takao in the details. By an up-to-date historical investigation, Atago consists of completely new parts including all the deck, a bridge, a chimney pipe and masts both in front and back.
Fitting components like a ventilation tower and binoculars are included. In addition, etched parts set and a linoleum deck are for sale.
