A double‑track truss bridge is a new type of truss bridge seen on Shinkansen lines and newly built conventional railway sections. It comes equipped with connection trusses and end covers, and a walkway is installed in the center.
By linking multiple units with the connection trusses, it is possible to construct a long-span bridge.
