HOKI2500 is a 35 t capacity limestone hopper car, with 172 vehicles built between 1967 and 1969. It was mainly used to transport crushed stone and limestone. HOKI2500 and HOKI9500 mixed consists were operated between Okutama Station on the Ome Line and Hamakawasaki Station on the Nambu Line, running through residential areas and beloved as a local freight train.
