DF200 diesel locomotive model overview
The DF200 is a diesel locomotive whose mass production began in 1994 and is popularly known as RED BEAR. It is used to haul freight trains on non electrified sections across Hokkaido and in the Chukyo region. Variants include the 0, 50, 100, and 200 series due to differences in engine specifications. In recent years the JRF mark on the body sides has been removed.
