Series 113-1500 was built from 1979 to 1981 for Yokosuka Line and Sobu Rapid Line services. Compared with the subway-compatible Series 113-1000, these cars feature a wider seat pitch. ATC equipment on the cab cars gives them their distinctive higher-mounted headlights and horn.
This 7-car basic set recreates JR East Makuhari Depot MARI 117 Configuration as seen around 1993, after JR radio antenna and ATS-P installation. It represents the appearance without destination-sign holders and can be combined with the corresponding add-on set for a longer train.
