Kato 5065-8 OSHI 17 is an N scale dining car from the classic 10 Series passenger coach family. The 10 Series represented a new lightweight approach to Japanese passenger coach design, helping improve train performance and influencing later coach construction.
The OSHI 17 adds dining-car variety to JNR-era passenger consists and is useful for making long-distance trains more realistic. This release changes the car number from earlier versions while keeping the established Kato 10 Series format.
