Fujimi 1/700 Imperial Navy Series No. 53 Japanese Navy Heavy Cruiser Suzuya (1944 Operation Sho-Go) Plastic Model Kit

This detailed 1/700 scale plastic model kit recreates the Mogami class heavy cruiser Suzuya as she appeared in October 1944 during the Leyte Gulf operations. The kit combines existing and newly added molds to represent the final configuration with high fidelity. 

- Dedicated hull parts reproduce the sloped hull side profile unique to the late Mogami class ships Suzuya and Kumano

- Side hull cross section differs from earlier Mogami and Mikuma molds

- Anti-aircraft gun deck is modeled narrower by 1.0 mm at model scale compared to Mogami and Mikuma

- External cable runs are molded as part of the hull with a shape unique to Suzuya and Kumano

- Portholes are shown closed following wartime modifications

- Left and right hull halves are separate parts for clean assembly
