Recreates the battleship era Ise equipped with six twin main turrets (12 guns) as a full hull 1/700 scale model kit
Overview - 1/700 scale full hull model of the Ise in her battleship configuration before conversion to an aviation battleship, reflecting the refitted appearance of the early Pacific War period (1941–1942). - Unpainted plastic kit requiring glue and painting. - Combines existing molds from the special series with newly added molds. - Underwater hull molds designed in 2026; above water molds designed in 2017.
Key features - Accurate battleship form with the fifth and sixth main turrets intact, representing the final pure battleship appearance except for trial radar fittings. - Battleship specific parts for hull sides and upper deck that differ from the aviation battleship Ise release. - Dedicated bridge parts that differ from the aviation battleship version.
Hull and sides - Hull side parts are split left and right and divided from the bottom at the waterline. - Portholes are open and finely engraved in large numbers along the hull side. - Hull side parts include external deck conduits and battleship specific open portholes.

Bridge and superstructure - Multi part layered construction for realistic assembly. - Shelter deck, lower bridge, and upper bridge are unified using slide molds to achieve complex shapes. - Deck surfaces above the navigation bridge feature sculpted linoleum and strip pattern details. - Anti aircraft command post floor includes detailed grating sculpting.
Main and secondary armament - Main gun barrels are molded with slide molds to reproduce gun muzzles; elevation is fixed. - Main turrets have finely detailed exterior shapes; rangefinders are separate parts. - Secondary guns use integrated parts combining casemate, waterproof cover, and barrel for accurate appearance.
Funnels and aviation equipment - Funnels are two half assemblies. - Truss structures around the funnels are reproduced as separate parts. - Stern flight operations deck is a separate part from the wooden deck to reduce painting complexity. - Includes three Type 95 reconnaissance seaplanes.
Rear mast - Constructed from multiple parts to reproduce complex shapes. - Cross tree is a dedicated part to reflect shape differences from Hyuga. - Mast top parts reproduce both vertical and V shaped configurations.
Hull bottom and underwater features - Hull bottom is a single integrated part. - Bulges below the waterline are separate parts from the hull bottom. - Bilge keel is expressed integrally with the bulge.
Decals and markings - One decal sheet included. - Markings include naval ensign and national flags and aircraft Hinomaru. - Naval ensign sizes correspond to three historical widths scaled to 1/700. - Includes aircraft Hinomaru and friend identification yellow bands; Hinomaru options include late war types without white border.
