Authentic 1/700 scale Akagi aircraft carrier model kit with realistic wave display base and included photo-etched parts. Pre-colored molded parts and precision engineering allow easy assembly without painting or glue, perfect for collectors and diorama builders.

Detailed Modeling
- Hull: Left and right hull halves with waterline separation; molded in a gray tone that reproduces Yokosuka Naval Arsenal color. Portholes, external conduit and hull details are crisply sculpted.
- Flight deck: Steel and wooden deck sections are separate parts to reproduce color division without paint. Wooden deck surface features delicate engraving suitable for realistic appearance and panel lining during painting. Elevator detail is finely sculpted.
- Superstructure and fittings: Slide-molded bridge with full-circumference molding for realistic detail. Funnel tip is a separate black-molded part to reproduce color variation and exhaust depth. Deck fittings such as fairleads and cranes are sharply rendered, with crane rail under the aft flight deck provided as a separate part.
- Armament: Aft 20 cm guns feature extraordinary molding detail, including canvas texture.

Aircraft and Markings
- Includes nine carrier aircraft that were embarked from December 1941 to June 1942: three Zero fighters, three Type 99 carrier bombers, and three Type 97 carrier attack planes. Zero and Type 99 molded in light gray; Type 97 molded in dark green. Each aircraft is one-piece for easy assembly.
- Marking options: Pre-cut sticker set for Hinomaru markings and deck linoleum and flight deck white lines. Decal sheet also included for painted finish options with flight deck markings and aircraft Hinomaru.

- Molded parts utilize seven colors to represent authentic surfaces: Yokosuka gray, black, linoleum color, wood deck color, dark green, light grayish white, and clear blue.
