Banksy (date of birth not disclosed) is a masked artist active mainly in London, UK. He employs guerrilla methods to create socially satirical graffiti and street art around the world. Banksy seeks to conceal his identity, and many details, including his real name, remain unknown. In 2005 he attracted attention by secretly installing his works in little-visited rooms of famous museums worldwide, where they remained on display for some time without being noticed.
