Banksy (date of birth undisclosed) is a masked artist active mainly in London, UK. He uses guerrilla-style methods to create socially satirical graffiti and street art around the world. Banksy seeks to conceal his identity, and many details, including his real name, remain unknown. In 2005, it attracted attention when he secretly installed his works in little-visited rooms of famous museums around the world, where they remained on display for some time without being noticed.
