Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon Pokemon setNew Pokémon. New mechanics. New ways to battle! The Dusk Mane and Dawn Wings form of Necrozma have arrived straight from the Ultra Wormhole and into the new Pokémon Ultra Sun (SM5S) and Ultra Moon (SM5M) Trading Card Gaming expansion!

The fifth main expansion to the Sun and Moon TCG series features these two new forms of Necrozma as GX cards for the first time, after their first appearance in the recently released games for the 3DS of the same names. The Necrozma GX forms are not alone, however, as Eeveelutions Glaceon GX and Leafeon GX are also introduced for the first time along with the mighty legendary Pokémon of the Sinnoh region - Dialga GX and Palkia GX! All GX cards are also included as “SR” and “HR” variants.

This expansion also features the brand new Prism Star mechanic which is set to change the entire flow of battle! Due to their immense power, only one Prism Star card of the same name is allowed per deck, and once discarded it is put into the "Lost Zone", meaning there is no way to get it back. The Lost Zone was first introduced into the TCG back in 2009 and was inspired by Giratina's Distortion World, also from the Sinnoh region. It's no surprise that Giratina is here in SM5 as one of six new Prism Star cards along with Darkrai, Solgaleo, Lunala, as well as Trainer cards Cyrus and Super Boost Energy. Your deck will never be the same again.

he set will also feature many new Trainer cards, as the Sinnoh theme continues with the inclusion of Cynthia, who is also obtainable as an amazing “SR” card. Six Trainer cards from each set are obtainable in “SR” form – pretty exciting eh?
